In order to have your abstract considered for an oral presentation, you must submit your abstract by Wednesday, January 31st, 2024 by 4:00 pm.
Oral presenters chosen to present at Student Research Day are automatically considered eligible for the President's Award and a cash prize of $250

Abstract Information

Guidelines for Submitting an Abstract:

  • The student submitting an abstract should be listed as first author.
  • A student can only be listed as first author on one abstract.
  • All contributors, including the principal investigator/mentor, must be listed as an author on the abstract.
  • Authors should be listed in the following format: LastName, FirstName then separated by semi-colons.
  • Each author should be numbered to match affiliations.
  • Affiliations of all authors should be listed as well.
  • Abstracts must be formatted in Arial, Size 10 Font, Single Spaced, Left Aligned, and No Indents in a Microsoft Word Document, and left-aligned. (No PDFs will be accepted)
  • Abstracts should be no more than 350 words.
  • Abstracts should briefly state the study's objective, methods used, summarize the results, and state the conclusions.
  • All submissions must include a faculty advisor, mentor or PI who oversaw your project or this submission.
  • All comments and tracking must be removed or turned off; clean copy only.
